Hi and a very warm welcome to the Derby RFC website from the Webmaster. We have teams at Mini & Junior level at every age group from Under 7s to Under 17s and then we have our the Senior sides of the 1st XV, 2nd XV, Dev XV, 4th XV, Vets and Colts. For the 2007/08 season we're introducing Ladies Rugby with 3 sides at U15s, U18s and a Senior side.

The club itself is certainly a vibrant one and within this website I look to capture what's currently happening within the Club and also look back at previous seasons since the Website started.

I regularly make updates to the site on a daily / weekly basis. So that you can quickly see what new information I've put onto the website there is a Website Update button on the Home page and pages such as this one (see the top 2 rows of naviagtion buttons) that you can click on and this will take you straight to a page that lists all of the major changes that I make to the website as far as adding new information. On the Website Update page there are links to take you straight to the new / updated page. 

The website itself has undergone various changes since August 2000 when I first put it together, in those early days on average there use to be about 5 visits to the site per week, but as the site has grown and people have become more aware of it we now regularly take 1,000 to 1,500 hits per week during the Rugby playing season.

One of the nice things to do is to look back on what's taken place and as such there is an Archives section which is full of information in respect to past Match Reports & Photos and past Club News info etc. 

There is also a Past Events page which lists lots of past social activities and one off Club events all with written reports and photographs.

The website has been designed for viewing using the Microsoft Internet Explorer browser, if you use another browser such as Netscape then I cannot guarantee that the pages will be displayed as I originally intended them to do so. If you do though come across any problems then by all means get in touch with me.

Hopefully you'll find a plethora and wealth of information to satisfy most appetites (hic) as to what you want to see and know about the Rugby Club within this website. If there's further information that you think would be good to have on the website then please just drop me an email.
