Derby RFC moved from our previous Clubhouse on Kedleston Road to Haslams in June 2002. This webpage is a pictorial record of the new Clubhouse and grounds as they were being built.
10th April 2002
Does this look or does this look good !!! As you can see the clubhouse is coming on leaps and bounds, the roof tiles are now being fitted, windows are in place and cladding is going on to the side and back of the building. This should be one pretty impressive clubhouse and grounds next season.

Wow, what a difference a few weeks makes !! The second storey is up and the roof frames are all in place. In the Car Park the lights are in place. It sure is looking good.

3rd February 2002
The building is now starting to take shape. The last photo is of the training ground which is on the opposite side of Haslams Lane, as you can see from the photo it has been seeded. The whole development when finished should look very impressive. A number of events are being planned prior to the move to celebrate the time that the Club has spent at Kedleston Road. Things are moving on at a pace, it's just 4 weeks since the last lot of photo's and you can now see the start in earnest of the brick walls going up of the Club house.

Some more pictures of the New Ground with a smattering of snow. In the clubhouse area you can see the first couple of courses of brickwork have been started.
