Mayor visits Derby RFC - 3rd August'02

On the 3rd August'02 the Mayor and Mayoress of Derby Councillor Robin Turner and Mrs Janet Turner came to visit Derby RFC at Haslams. The visit had been arranged by U17 Coach Phil Bailey to formally welcome back seven Derby RFC Under 17's players who had been on the recent NLD U17's Tour to Australia. The Mayor and Mayoress also took the opportunity to walk around Haslams and witness at first hand the facilities that the Club now has to offer it's players, members and the general public. Presentations were made by the Mayor, the Players and Derby RFC Chairman Gordon Stirling.
