We run 6 Senior sides: 1st XV, 2nd XV, Development XV, 4th XV, Vets XV and Colts XV.

New Head Coach for Derby RFC has been appointed - The Club are pleased to announce and welcome Ian Gittens as the new Head Coach for Derby RFC. Ian is looking forward to taking the club forward and brings a wealth of playing & coaching experience as well as the latest thinking in Sports Science. Ian will be assisted by Paul McCartin and Brett Beckham.

Ian's playing experience includes: London Welsh, Blackheath, Sale Sharks, Liverpool St Helens and Stoke. Ian's coaching experience includes: Stoke, Longton and Macclesfield. As Head Coach at Macclesfield Ian took Macclesfield into National Div 3 and they reached the Semi Final of National Powergen competition.
 
The new Derby RFC Coaching team will be Ian Gittens (Head Coach) Paul McCartin (Assistant Coach) Brett Beckham (Backs coach) backed up with session / one to one work by Ralph Knibbs, Neil Collier, Paul Teager, Matt Bates and Stu Cormack. There will also be specialist fitness advisors Gary Spencer and Angie Webster joining Steve Loomes. 

Seniors Pre-Season Training commences on Tuesday 3rd July at 6.45pm prompt. The next session will be Tuesday 10th July and then every Tuesday and Thursday thereafter.
