Players Treatments - Injuries sustained through Rugby Matches & Training are followed up in Treatment Clinics at Haslams.

Kathryn runs clinics on Tuesday's and Thursday's between 6pm and 8pm.  The treatment slots are predominatly for 1st and 2nd team squads, however if there are spaces then any senior sub-paying player is eligible for treatment.

There is an appointment system in place for the clinics, and priority is given to players who are training that evening.

A variety of treatment techniques are used to help players return to Full Fitness asap, some of these Treatments may include -

Exercise, Manipulation, Massage, Electrotherapy (including ultrasound), Acupuncture, Taping / Strapping.

There is regular communication between the physiotherapists, coaching staff and manager regarding players’ rehabilitation, training schedules and fitness.

This season, we will also be able to liase with a fitness trainer from Breadsall who will be able to progress fitness training, following rehabilitation, to improve our players’ overall function, strength and stamina before returning to play.  This should reduce risks of re-injury on return to play.
